Mechatronics
The relatively new field of Mechatronics Engineering is the combination of mechanical,
electronic and computer engineering disciplines. This interdisciplinary mixture brings together the
knowledge and skills necessary to design and improve upon modern electromechanical systems.

In 2003 I earnt a 1st-class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics) from The University of Western Australia.
I have worked almost exclusively as a mechatronics engineer in a number of contexts; robotics, mining, acoustics and medical products development.
